Merchant-fulfilled orders & Non-merchant-fulfilled orders

There are two types of order fulfillment: merchant-fulfilled and non-merchant-fulfilled.

Merchant-fulfilled orders are shipped directly from the merchant’s warehouse.

Non-merchant-fulfilled orders, such as Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS), are shipped from a warehouse operated by a third-party company.
