The first step is understanding how to create your various picking plans based on your unique fulfillment needs. We’ll start by going to the Orders Module in the Skustack Portal and from the drop down select “Manage Orders” to open up the Manage Orders page.
In the Manage Orders page there are a number of different default filters and custom filters you can add to aggregate orders and generate picklists.
Some common filters our customers use:
Single-Item, Multi-Item, and Multi-Sku Orders: This is a great way to separate single item orders that are easy to fulfill from orders that take an extra step of needing to sort multiple products to an order
Shipping Carrier: You can preselect shipping carriers for your orders and pick orders based on the assigned carrier
Rush Orders: You can create picklists and prioritize Rush Orders
Regions: You can filter for orders with products located in certain Warehouse Regions and create a picklist based on different zones
Channels: You can sort orders and prioritize fulfillment for specific Channels that require you to meet certain metrics
Once you know what orders you want on your picklists, you can create a save view in your Manage Orders page by clicking the “saved view” button and naming your saved view.
To automatically generate these picklists, you can go into your Sellercloud account and create a scheduled task that will build the picklist based on the orders in a saved view at whatever frequency you would like to set.
