Advanced Inventory Rules For Your Sales Channels
Several advanced inventory rules can be set to better help manage the different workflows on each Sales Channel. Some of these rules are:
- Channel Quantity – “Channel Quantity” is used to allocate a set inventory for a specific channel. Once inventory is exhausted, new inventory must be added.
- Max Quantity – “Max Quantity” is used to limit the “Available inventory” seen by a channel. Inventory will constantly be updated with that value until “Available Inventory” exceeds the “Max Quantity” set for that listing.
- Safety Quantity – “Safety Quantity” is normally used on fast-selling and low-inventory SKUs or on sales channels that take longer for inventory to be updated. Once the “Safety Quantity” has been reached, inventory will be zeroed out for that channel.
- Replenishable Quantity – “Replenishable Quantity” is normally used for workflows like Cross-Docking, Pre-Orders, or manufacturing to order. When a “Replenishable Quantity” is set, Sellercloud will constantly update sales channels with the “Replenishable Quantities” overriding the “Available Quantity”.
